Aboriginal bark painting depicting the men of the Jinang tribe who have just made a hollow log bone coffin. The top of the bone coffin formed as the mouth of the saw fish totem. Surrounded by spiritual totemic objects the tribe prepare for a corroboree. Peter banjuljul was born just after the second world war and is one of the many lesser know artists from this area. This example is a great example of his one eyed almost surrealistic depictions of people
