Object type: club
Locality: Southeast Queensland Australia
Artist: Unknown
Circa: 1920
Length: 66 cm
Description:
This savage old nail headed club was purchased from a United kingdom Auction where it was being sold as a trench fighting weapon. It has had a long life and one side of the shaft has major loss. This area of loss though also has a good patina indicating that it was still being used despite the battle damage.
Even today if I hear a thump in the night it tends to be the club of choice to go and have a look-see.
Price: SOLD
